Embarrassing Moments?
Anyone had any truly embarrassing moments at gigs? Things so bad you try really hard not to remember them?
I'll start us off.
1. at age 14 at a my vitriol gig i got up to do a stage dive, thinking it would be good to do it at a certain point. but when i got up there the band stopped before the point i wanted and just stood there leaving me looking like a twat on stage and everyone telling me to get off. the bastards. they remixed their album anyway. pah
2. after being in love with eels for about 5 years i finally got to see them in portsmouth. gig was seated but people wanted to dance, so securty were having a go at people throughout all the quiet songs and causing a big rucus. then a few arseholes in the crowd started shouting at E that they wanted to dance and to play fast stuff, so he rightfully had a big go at them. 3 or 4 songs later when it had calmed down, i requested Not Ready Yet in the gap between songs, and E thought I was one of the drunken fools having another go. Therefore the singer of possibly my favourite band in the world at that time preceeded to have a 5 minute rant about what a twat I was. Ground swallowing me up, etc. But I'll forgive him because he knew not what he did.
Now i've admitted these I want something worse. And it cant just be drunkenly chatting someone up. I want band and crowd involvement, many people laughing at you and your life being semi-ruined.
