Music Social More…

Is it easier to express hate than love about music?

simon_t [Edit] [Delete] 17:53, 10 December '09

I know this looks impressively cynical in the wake of the latest Quietus crosspost - and it's funny how they only crosspost the knowingly divisive stuff - but it's something I've been thinking about for a bit, spurred on by John Earls on PS remarking on how a lot of Void contributors don't get on because they're far keener on knocking than ever expressing any love of any musician, and also the many topics on here headed "Just bought the Dirty Projectors/XX/Wild Beasts album and...", which never continue in a "and I liked it, thanks for letting me know" vein when there's catch-all dismissal to be had.
