JAG: Lords / Black Feelings - Split 7" on WeBe Records

danaround [Edit] [Delete] 16:32, 10 January '10

Hi everyone. Hope you don't mind me popping this on here.

Our label WeBe Records (www.weberecords.com) has just finished our new release and it's really rather exciting. Following on from the These Arms Are Snakes/Tropics spilt 7" that we put out last year (last few copies remaining) we're now ready to unleash...

Lords / Black Feelings - Split 7".

Lords is a band everyone on here should know. They have released two fine albums on Gringo Records, have played crushing shows all over the country on their own, and alongside such wonderful bands as Shellac, The Groundhogs, Part Chimp, Dead Meadow, Bilge Pump and many more. Have also played at ATP vs The Fans 2009, and SXSW. To quote myself they're one of the premier rock units from the UK and deserve to be heard.

They provide a track entitled 'Space and Death Recipe', and more can be found here www.myspace.com/lords

Black Feelings may not be so familiar to you, but they will soon be. Hailing from Montreal (that's in Canada), and big buddies such great bands as Aids Wolf and Japanther, they have just released their debut album on Alien8 Records. They've been playing lots of shows in Canada and the US east coast, and hope to hit Europe soon. There is 3 of them, and they play heavy, psychedelic kraut-pop.

The BBC recently said of their debut album "rattling and rolling with intent and purpose while also braving tumult and tension"...which sums it up nicely. http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/reviews/8xm5

They provide 'Lost Rings Pt. 1, and can be found here www.myspace.com/bfeelings

The record was mastered and cut at Abbey Road studios, limited to 500 copies, on heavy, clear burgundy vinyl, and a beautiful hand-numbered sleeve, with tripped out beach huts on.

To buy please go here www.weberecords.com (you can buy this alongside the TAAS/Tropics 7" for a special bundle price).

Thank you for listening.
