Just throwing it out there - I think Stellastarr* is one of the best debut albums of the noughties
Really takes me back to the new-wave of NY art-punk bands of the mid-noughties. I remember getting this album at around the same time as Fever To Tell and thinking that it would be Stellastarr* who had the big career ahead of them
The two follow-up albums might be shit but this is so raw and energetic with this totally vulnerable core running right through it - well worth revisiting - 9/10 on DIS!
