Marvins Revolt call it a day

1_234589 [Edit] [Delete] 18:00, 5 February '10

From their myspace page yesterday:

After almost a decade of making music together as Marvins Revolt, we have decided to put the band to sleep for an unknown period of time.

This decision was made collectively as everything else we’ve ever done. Even though we’ve enjoyed almost every minute of this great adventure, we’ve come to a place where the thrills and kicks that used to make it all worthwhile, aren’t strong enough any longer. We simply don’t have the passion for creating music together as Marvins Revolt any longer, the same goes for recording, touring and all the other stuff associated with the band. So the only right thing for us to do now is this.

We don’t know if we’ll ever join forces again musicwise as Marvins Revolt, but as for now, Marvins Revolt is no longer active.

Thanks for the ride.

Klaus, Martin and Søren.

Sounds pretty final, which is such a shame, a criminally underrated band. Most recent album was pretty darn good too. Anyone else bothered?
