Buying promos

shimmetry [Edit] [Delete] 13:44, 7 February '10

Is this as bad as downloading? Years ago getting your hands on a promo was a collectors wet dream, it was on vinyl and you more than likely had it on all formats anyway. These days, the band aren't going to get any money and they're dirt cheap in R&TE or on ebay. I bought some yesterday, but qualified them thus 1) Three Trapped Tigers 1st EP - it's sold out and not likely to be reissued 2) The Beta Band - The Patty Patty Sound - I already own the 3EPs, 3) Abe Vigoda - Skeleton - they'd misspelt it Abe Vicoda and noone else was likely to find it, never mind buy it. Oh, plus they were only £1.69 each. Get in. Promos then, the devils work?
