Help needed,possibility of new clubnight...

cahill [Edit] [Delete] 21:24, 8 March '10

Hi,

Im just wanting a bit of feedback here,im looking to send a proposal off to a club in Leeds that is looking for new mid-week clubnights. Now I know Leeds is pretty much saturated for club nights so the question i ask is in this climate would a new club night work and be succesful?

Im a bit sketchy on the music i wanna play but its along the lines of King Khan,Grandmaster Flash,Depeche Mode,Stones,90's Dance,Jay Reatard,Disco,Bowie, early RnB,The Roots etc etc

What would make this more appealing to customers? What has worked before with succesful clubnights to make them stand out? What would you like to see in a new clubnight?

Without sounding like a twat I want to stay away from the usual 'indie' nights that play 'Last Nite','Girls and boys' and 'Live Forever' every week and would appreciate and info from you guys,Thanks.
