Ever since hearing Hudson Mohawke I have been utterly hooked.

Particularly on his album Butter, it holds a somewhat nostalgic/pastiche quality which is partly because it sounds like The Neverending Story, but there is also that almost silly rap style which is really evident on Joy Fantastic. It's a little bit dorky and cartoon-like and loads of fun! I wanna hear more hiphop like this, another good example of this is on the Superfast Jellyfish track on the new Gorillaz album.

I'm guessing its more an old school style, seen in early rap groups Whodini and Newcleus but was wondering if anyone knew any similar artists to this almost light hearted "dorky" Hiphop sound?
