is, as has been well-established, perfectly fine and can be really ace.

So last night I was in New York, at the fag end of a business trip (get me!), by myself with nothing to do. Flicked through a local listings paper, and saw that Ben Frost was playing. Debated for all of about 5 seconds whether I should go and then got down there double-quick-smart.

And hell I was glad that I did. He absolutely ruled - a really visceral, enrapturing performance.

I guess the moral of all this is: go see Ben Frost play, even if it's a spur-of-the-moment decision in a strange city by yourself.
