Mali ’s great kora virtuoso pays tribute to the legendary Ali Farka Touré (1939-2006) performing material from their final collaboration, Ali And Toumani (World Circuit).

The successor to the Grammy-winning In the Heart of the Moon , this is the last album recorded by Ali Farka Touré and also features Cuban bassist Cachaíto López.

This is Toumani’s first Barbican appearance since his triumphant world premiere of the orchestral arrangements of his Mandé Variations with the LSO in 2008.
