The Poptimist

robluvsnic [Edit] [Delete] 06:04, 3 May '10

I don't read Pitchfork that often. Unless a link to some album review happens to remind me that the site exists, and that their review of X album might be worth a look, I don't find there to be any great reason to check the site.

With one significant exception:

http://pitchfork.com/features/poptimist/

Tom Ewing's The Poptimist column amounts to probably the best writing on music currently available online (and probably offline too). The guy is a hero and a treasure. Never read a piece by him that didn't leave me feeling that life is better for having had the opportunity to read it.

Any other fans?
