I love me some remastered deluxe editions

auteur55 [Edit] [Delete] 01:20, 11 May '10

I never want the physical album to die. One reason is because I love remastered deluxe editions of albums with a bad ass 2nd disc of collected b-sides and rarities and a lovely insert with era capturing photos of the band and fun 10 page commentary by a band member or fan. I also like that some albums from the 80's get a bump up in sound quality through the remastering.

The Deluxe versions of Saint Etienne's Tiger Bay and Finisterre came today and they are beautiful. Any real fan would want to own these things in their nice glossy eye catching packaging.

The Pulp reissues released a few years back are priceless and the only way to own the albums in all their glory.

Anyone else addicted/love this form of music revisitation?
