Ferraro has developed quite a reputation for his synth-heavy mutilations, often sounding like Jan Hammer being drugged into submission, always with that delicately skewed focus on reality that tickles the brain sweetly but can leave you unnerved all the same. His recent LP on New York's Olde English Spelling Bee - entitled 'Last American Hero' - is a modern classic.
