I'm having a bbq next weekend and am being tasked with making a playlist. Thing is not many people there are heavily into music so I'm trying to make a list of songs to please everyone (to save having loads of those awkward 'what the fuck is this!' type comments).

So far I've got lots of 90s 'bangers' (len, bone thugs-n-harmony, tq, will smith etc), some UK garage, older stuff like fleetwood mac, rolling stones as well as new rihanna and gaga stuff to keep people happy. Am I missing anything? I've added some relatively inoffensive hip hop too (a tribe called quest, pharcyde etc) and a few other modern 'indie' bands -- tv on the radio, local natives etc. Would welcome some decent suggestions -- running out of ideas.
