Music Social More…

What are the good underground/indie music websites for people not massively into the Pitchfork-endorsed stuff these days?

I miss the days when Playlouder was both dead good and easy to access but have no idea what actually really replaced it. I use DiS and enjoy the social boards and music boards but wouldn't say there's much divergence between my tastes and the general DiS consensus and I've never really got into Playlouder. Plan B's gone obviously - I enjoyed a lot of that but my dislike of the Everett True style of writing tempered my enjoyment.

Do you know what I really miss? Select magazine. Was that as good as I remember? And in terms of magazines I've got a feeling Bang looked quite promising for the 4 issues or so before it disappeared. Word's alright too.

That's a tangent though. What are the good "alternative" (for want of a better word) indie music sites?
