I am really honoured to present Grouper and Rafael Anton Irisarri at the Islington Mill in Manchester on the 4th November. Two of my favourite artists making spellbindingly gorgeous music, I couldn't ask for a better show really!
You might have noticed the ROOM40 10 year celebrations at Cafe Oto in London, where they've got an insane two night line-up which includes Liz and Rafael, and all Londoners should definitely get down there.

Rafael Anton Irisarri is an American composer, multi-instrumentalist, curator and mixed media artist based in Seattle, Washington. He is predominantly associated with post-minimalist, drone and ambient music and has been exploring textural electronics for over half a decade.
He is also known as the main member of electronic/shoegaze act The Sight Below (signed to Ghostly International).
Irisarri’s recorded output captures an essential vision of floating tones, deep pulsing bass and textured Gaussian curves.

ROOM40
ROOM40 is a label and multi-arts organisation based in Brisbane, Australia. Since 2000, ROOM40 has released over 60 high quality editions and multiples in the fields of electronics, improvisation, experimental-pop and sound-art. Curated by Lawrence English, the label continues to publish in and around the margins of each of these fields drawing on a diverse roster of both established and emergent sound-makers. ROOM40 also produces numerous events, festivals and exhibitions in Australia and beyond.
