Not been posting as much these past few weeks or keeping abreast of things but from browsing back through a few pages it seems like the conversation has been fantastic recently. I've just compiled some DiS highlights of July as a playlist http://tumblr.com/xqdf6y7zk - and that Blondes remix of Health is absolutely killer and was wondering what everyone's favourite tracks and albums of July were and what are you looking forward to in August in terms of both records and gigs?

My August got underway yesterday with the makers of my lp of the year (so far) Deftones, in Ventura and have half-written a review which should be up later this week. Been spending a lot of time with favourite records on the road, remembering how much I love The Field, The Shins, No Age and Beck. Finally bought that Emeralds album too! Not had much to explore much of what's due out in August yet so looking forward to hearing what you're all excited about.
