The Doctor’s Orders are taking over. We know to many of you who have seen us throwing some of the best parties in London over the last 5+ years this is not news but now it is official. The Doctor’s Orders have been invited by their favourite London boozer to take over their jukebox with a selection of their best-loved 45’s.

To Mark the occasion they are not only hosting another of their hugely popular Hip-Hop Pub Quiz’s but also throwing a little party at which some of their regular DJs in the shape of Spin Doctor, Mr Thing & Deke Evergreen all play sets of only 45’s (you remember the old 7” records you could get in Our Price & Woolworths).

Trusted with the selection for the jukebox is The Doctor’s Orders head honcho and sole resident Spin Doctor. An avid record collector for over 20 years he is already deep into the process.
“I will be choosing a whole array of music that I am into. There will be some rare Hip-Hip 45’s, loads of classic Soul, a few breaks, a few Disco cuts and then a bunch of things people might not expect of me like some Pop, Rock & Folk. I am taking it well seriously and promise there is going to be something for everyone in there.”

Spin will also be hosting the 5th Hip-Hop Pub Quiz which has been a runaway success since it’s first installment in July 2009. The idea is simple really, to run a pub quiz with the typical kinds of rounds you would expect (film, sports, picture etc etc) but just about Hip-Hop. The popularity has been a surprise to all involved, the last time it was held at the Three Kings late arriving teams were turned away so if interested please register in advance through info@thedoctorsorders.com or through the The Doctor’s Orders Facebook group.
