Hip-hop groups - where'd they go?

SurfsUp [Edit] [Delete] 22:29, 15 October '10

Wu-tang, NWA, Dead Prez, Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, Cypress Hill. All made classic, critically acclaimed albums and smashed a shitload of units but there doesn't seem to be many crews who've made their mark since. Maybe G-Unit, although they were a bit cack and had Eminem to thank for their success. Maybe Outkast, but they're only a duo so probably don't count. What's happening, surely hip-hop groups are due a commercial comeback?
