dissapointing:

halcyon digest...i'm not even sure where to start with how nothingy that album is for me. i.just.can't.get.into.it. i keep trying, but nothing sticks. shame.

pleasantly suprising:

the age of adz. not that i thought it would be bad, but i just wasn't really bothered about it...by chance, i heard it streaming on the label site and it knocked me the fuck out. almost definitly in my top 5 for the year now.

both quite recent, like. i'm not sure if these really are my most dissapointing and pleasantly suprising, or if i just have a memory like a cheap fish*.

*do expensive tropical fish have better memories than the dirt fairground ones? you'd think..
