I know that loop stations have been discussed before on this board but it would be good to hear some fresh opinions. So I already own an RC-20xl but have been looking to sell it on and purchase the Dl4. I love delay but I'd be using it primarily for looping. Is this a wise decision?

There seems to be a lot of negativity about the Dl4 on the net, about its reliability and such. I'm a huge Andrew Bird fan, he has two Dl4s, which seem to work incredibly well for him. Given that he's such a talented musician whose music relies on loops, they can't be that bad right?
