WHY? Everytime I watch a gig or look at photos there's the morons with the hands in the air. Obviously the audio will be s___ so what's the point. Why can't they just enjoy the gig?

It must be galling for the band to see loads of mini screen staring at them for no reason.

Anyone care to elaborate on why this is the case or is it just a consequence of the new corporate souless gig environments attracting people not really into the music?
