For me, it is the ultimate doom metal record, taking the classic Sabbath, Candlemass and Trouble blueprint, slowing it right down and moulding the template for just about every doom subgenre that’s fashionable today. So unbelievably slow, morose and sludgy but not enough to become an academic exercise or to lose sight of the riff...

Anyway, should be a good show. The band are playing the album in full with the original line-up followed by a second set of recent material with the current band. Huggy bear oh yeah.............
