Music Social More…

Who still uses myspace (for bands)?

speedkills [Edit] [Delete] 14:54, 13 December '10

Because obviously no one uses it for social networking anymore. Sorry if this has been asked recently - the search function isn't working for me at the mo. Serious question though: who still uses myspace music? I guess I'm asking two questions here, 1) who, as an artist, still puts their music on myspace and 2) who, as a listener, still checks out bands' myspace pages? People in the latter camp: when you first hear a band do you go STRAIGHT to their myspace or check it out as an afterthought?

P.S. I'm not some sort of company. I'm a musician. I'm so fed up of myspace (it's clunky, slow, ugly and hard to use) that I really just want to get rid of it, but my gut instinct is not to as despite how shit it is people still use it. Or do they? I'm intrigued.
