I'd give it an 8.5. Would score higher if pop music wasn't seriously lacking a few more Acapellas and Umbrellas.

I've tried to start this thread a few times, rating and putting each of the past 10 years in order but failed. It has been a great year but then, as music fans, isn't nearly every year a great year?

Feel free to rate any year you like. Be curious which year is your perfect 10. Mine might be '99 pretty much because of NiN's The Fragile and Destiny Child's The Writing's On the Wall. Or '98 because of Mansun's Six. However, I realise the correct answer is 2000 (Relationship of Command, etc)
