This seems rather an achievement considering I could have sworn Albarn said they were retiring at end of tour anyway, so no idea why the split is even necessary. Apparntly Hewlett hated Albarn's constant side projects, and Albarn hated Hewlett's constant partying.

Anyway if true, RIP, Plastic Beach and Demon Days are underrated, the latter an absolute classic.

Somehow doubt it'll either stick, or really matter considering how prolific Albarn is anyway.
