I was thinking about this after listening to The Vines earlier. I used to properly LOVE them back in 2002, Highly Evolved was probably my favourite album at one point.

So I was expecting at least a warm rush of nostalgia on listening back to them for the first time in a few years - but er, no. Songs like 'Outtathaway' and 'In The Jungle' sound like garbage, whilst a lot of other garage-rock bands of the time I can still get excited by (Von Bondies, BRMC, Raveonettes etc)
