I saw Sound Of Rum play at near empty Barfly on Friday, due to the headliner Dry the River having to cancel. I'm glad I popped down, as Sound Of Rum were great! I had heard the name but it wasn't what I was expecting consider the origial headliner is folk/rock act.

However their rapper Kate Tempest is a real talent and had the small but attentive crowd in her hands. The two other guys in the group bring colour and a bit of funk to her lyrics.

Has anyone else seen them or a fan?
