Melodrama Mix

CrispinAlexander [Edit] [Delete] 19:22, 30 March '11

apparently i haven't grown out of the (type of) music i loved when i was 16 and i'm absolutely fine with that because it's GREAT.

i'm working on a playlist of the best melodramatic emo/pop-punk anthems (i hate saying "anthems" but it conveys what i'm talking about)

so far, in no order at all, i've got:

the academy is... - one more weekend
the bit that goes WE ARE HALF ALONE OUR HEARTS ARE LEAVING HOOMEE consistently gives me goosebumps. also this whole album is an under appreciated classic.

blink-182 - untitled

fall out boy - sugar we're goin down
they have others. but in the end, i'd be lying to myself if i didn't choose this.

the get up kids - action & action

my chemical romance - thank you for the venom
every single song on TCFSR could be on here

taking back sunday - cute without the 'E'
AND WILL YOU TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS

brand new - the quiet things that no one ever knows
the video for this is especially hilarious, had no second thought including this.

hopefully that gives you an idea of what i'm looking for. there are definitely loads more, but i've hit a bit of a dead end on it. suggestions plz.
