'One Way Ticket to Hell and Back' by The Darkness is the most underrated album of the 00's

DirtyBurger64 [Edit] [Delete] 14:30, 6 April '11

I doubt I will ever come across a record as under-appreciated as this for the rest of my entire life. Weezer's Maladroit wasn't and still isn't glorified, despite the fact that it too is brilliant while simultaneously being overlooked by critics and music fans alike.

To tell you the truth, I used to hate, and still do to an extent, glam rock. Yet despite this, The Darkness are so fun and full of life that its infectious attitude is hard to resist.

The 1st album was brillaint but this is even better. Songs like Hazel Eyes, English Country Garden are nothing short of riviting. Dinner Lady Arms is lovely jubly and the album can be very funny at times.

So put down your copy of Radiohead's Amnesiac and listen to this, the sheer joy of music.
