Music Social More…

best label for compilations / the best comp album you own?

cameron78 [Edit] [Delete] 15:46, 25 April '11

These days I tend to buy many more compilations.. its one of the best things getting 15 or 20 songs from a place or time you haven't heard before, what does everyone think are the best labels for this?

Obviously Soul Jazz is the daddy.. the tropilica / Brazil 70 stuff were the first really exciting comp I bought, there music from black action films and Freedom jazz one are amazing..

Recently though I keep getting "Finders Keepers" ones.. Welsh rare beat is amazing (http://www.finderskeepersrecords.com/discog_welsh.html)

so is the new Thai underground one..

I have one or two Numero group numbers and they are pretty ace..

This is my favorite at the moment though..

Never much got pyschobilly before this.
