Music Social More…

I had a thought about a band like Deerhunter (Mid-Size Indie? I don't know..)

A very good band, on a big indie label (4AD) if Deerhunter had a lot of promotion, could they actually find theirselves at the top of the charts, known well by people who aren't "music fans" and would that be a good thing? I think it would because it could help change the mainstream (which is dog-shite these days!)
If really good bands like Deerhunter had the amount of promotion as Jessie J, or, fucking..Anyone 'anyone' has heard of, they could. People buy into shit. They may aswell buy into something good.
