Trying to identify the following singer/songwriter: Several years ago while traveling, I listened an artist interview on NPR weekend Edition and have forgotten the artist's name. The only part of the interview I remember was him telling a story about a woman friend with whom he had played guitar. Sometime afterwards she passed away. He then performed a song which had the tag line "...and today they threw away her guitar". (Possibly "blue guitar".) Any help identifying the artist would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
