Groundbreaking Austrian electronic musician Fennesz cruises through many different worlds. Having carved a niche in experimental rock and improv, the 90s saw him turn his hand to electronic music and acoustic research, culminating in the release of the album Endless Summer in the new millennium - abstract, beat orientated and distinctively and endearingly analogue.

Fickle, dreamy or violent, his music rejects neither pop melody nor the noise that gives it colour. Both symphonic and discreet, Fennesz remains as bold as ever in creating, distorting and refining sound in ways that are far from the cliché of cold, clinical laptop music. His collaborators include Ryuichi Sakamoto, David Sylvian and Mike Patton.

Fennesz's only UK show outside London this summer.

Supported by Richard Youngs, known for his inimitable vocal style and deconstructed folk hymns. Collaborators have included Neil Campbell, Matthew Bower and Alex Neilson, and he has performed live with Vibracathedral Orchestra and Skullflower.
