Working music suggestions

Stagger__Lee [Edit] [Delete] 11:58, 26 May '11

I'm pretty sure a large percentage of people who post on these boards work from home? I may be wrong here though. If you're like me - I work from home in a freelance job - then you'll probably listen to music whilst you work. Yes?

What do you listen to and what makes you work better?

For me I can't have anything with too many lyrics or loud noises, or anything I like to much. If it's my favourite band then I just want to listen to that and it distracts me from work. Whilst if there are too many lyrics, even if I don't like it, I blocks my brain from working.

So basically I like fairly quiet, instrumental music. Dirty Three fit the bill nicely.

But yeah, does anyone have any music that really works for them? Anything that is instrumental (no pun intended) in helping them grind out large amounts of work. Suggestions and opinions please on some good music to work/write to. Thanks.

(by the way I'm fairly new to these boards, apologies if there's been threads like this before - I'm sure there has)
