The Caretaker - An Empty Bliss Beyond This World

Luis_Carruthers [Edit] [Delete] 19:06, 24 June '11

James Leyland Kirby's musical representation of Alzheimer's disease. It makes me picture its jazz 78 source material playing on a broken system in a huge, reverberant, decaying building, with no bodies around to absorb the echoes. Should be interesting for those who enjoy Jeck and Basinski. It should also be prescribed as some sort of relaxation therapy because it makes any frustration melt away pretty damn quick.

Anyone know anything about his source material? I'd like to look into it.
