There's something inspiring about independently released music. Maybe it's knowing that the motivations are rarely driven by money. Perhaps it's something to do with a whole way of thinking, that's not about appeasing the lowest common dominator. I've never truly been able to put my finger on it. So let's spend today thinking about and celebrating this spirit, and maybe through collectively making a playlist or something, we might find the germ at the core of it all?
