The DiS reviews used to cover a bit of the heavier stuff, but recently that seems to have dropped right off. So in lieu of that I was wondering what people have enjoyed on the heavier side of things this year. I don't care what genre (rock/metal/noise/drone/dark ambient whatever) as long as there is a satisfying level of abrasion.

I have been mean busy the last few months so haven't come across much good stuff to be honest - so would love some suggestions. I liked the latest Young Widows.
