I'm generally not one for buying deluxe/remastered albums, as I think they can be a bit of an unnecessary cash-in, but I'm interested in picking up the new editions of the first four REM albums, which I never owned the first time around. Thing is, I can pick up the bog-standard originals for half the price. What would people recommend, and are there any other re-released albums which are genuinely worth shelling out on?
