That was 13 years ago. Symposium and Idlewild (who I thought opened the Melody Maker stage?) were brilliant, Deftones were pretty much (teenage) life-changing. I vaguely remember watching Fungus on the new bands stage, think Seafood were brilliant and seeing 'buzz band' Gay Dad, and not knowing who Elliott Smith was at the time. Mansun, Six by Seven and Spiritualized were probably my three favourite sets.
