Apparently this is a disparaging term being bandied about relating to certain more 'melodic' metal bands (Kylsea, ISIS etc).

I'd never heard this term before but then I'm renown for being well out of all and any loops. Is this something you've heard of? Opinions? Sounds like mysogniy and music snobbery all rolled into one to me: double your fun.

Personally I'd be over the moon if MrsScagden would listen to Kylsea or ISIS or even Baroness but they're all too 'shouty' for her. 'Wife Metal' anyone?
