Music Social More…

In these hard-up times of ours

Joseph_SP [Edit] [Delete] 20:52, 1 September '11

has anyone's music consumption habits changed?

I buy less vinyl definitely, and download more. I'm trying to buy my cds from independent shop (Boomkat etc) rather than Amazon. Which is actually costing me a bit more but I think they need the money more at the moment than the big guys. Also, in what is probably a rather pointless display of trade protectionism, I'm trying to buy off UK Discogs sellers.

Anyone else? I'd be interested in knowing if people are downloading music illegally more? Personally, I feel even less inclined to deprive artists of funds at the moment but then I'm not really that hard-up.
