Music that reminds you of a place

menindrag [Edit] [Delete] 00:50, 7 September '11

I was in hospital for a short time, and I wanted to put on a really long peice of music because I was bed ridden and the only thing I could really do was listen to music. So I put on the 4 hour peice 'For Philip Guston' by Morton Feldman. It was a perfect choice which suited the delirious state of mind I was in, drifting in and out of consciousness, seeing nurses come and go and the general numbness of the painkillers I was on. Whenever I hear that peice, or similar music, I'm always remind of the clinical, sterile and delerious state of mins hospitals put me in.

Do you have any?
