Panda Bear/ Sonic Boom (Influence?)

_fake_blues [Edit] [Delete] 23:01, 28 September '11

I can't make my mind up wether Sonic Booms contribution to Tomboy has been a good thing or not.

What do others think?

I prefer the 7" single mixes of Tomboy/Slow Motion... the LP versions although not drastically different seem to include a few un-necessary special effects, explosions, lazer beams noises etc

then i hear the LP versions of Drone and Sufers Hymn and they absolutely blow me away

I can't help wonder what the album would have been like if it would have just been left to Panda Bear to finish off totally under his own control

There's a deluxe edition of Tomboy out soon with both LP and single mixes of most of the tracks and a few added extras
should be interesting as long as i can bring myself to fork out another £35

Does anybody know if the single mixes are without Sonic Booms input?
