Wedding band advice - with an annoying twist...

pentargo [Edit] [Delete] 14:55, 29 November '11

The missus's sister is getting married on the south coast next year. Happy day, best wishes, bon voyage and all that.

Certain duties are being disseminated down to friends and family and somehow I have got landed with sorting the wedding band, presumably due to the fact that I have previously expressed an interest in liking some music to a degree.

The annoying twist? The venue for the reception has stipulated that any wedding band are NOT ALLOWED TO USE LIVE DRUMS. Unsurprisingly it is proving fairly difficult to source suitable entertainment as most wedding bands tend to err towards the more 'traditional' setup.

Any suggestions? I've already checked and Erasure are sadly not available :(
