What do people think about PledgeMusic, and musicians using Kickstarter to fund projects/albums? Darren Hayman has been tweeting recently about it, and whilst he's been very forthright about it, I'm inclined to agree with some of what he's been saying. The 'pay £50 to hang out with a singer songwriter from Bath' part makes me most uncomfortable, but I'm not sure if this is anything more than a gut reaction.
