Happens every January. Last jan it was the Soft Moon's debut and Tamaryn's The Waves.

This year for me it's The Native Cats -- Process Praise. Very sparse post-punk of sorts from Tasmanian band. Really good but difficult to get hold of the CD unless you can walk into a Tasmanian record store. Think you can buy the LP online though.

NB: personally, I think threads like this are only meaningful if it's limited to albums that would've been top ten candidates, but if you're going to post some album that might've scraped into your top 100, I can't stop you.
