Y Niwl, Left Leg, Apple Eyes and Dan Ormsby at Brixton Windmill tomorrow

joeymahone [Edit] [Delete] 16:46, 24 February '12

Last-minute JAG for this gig in case anyone didn't see it on the Social board. I was going to put this in Announcements, but have you seen Announcements lately? It's a pharmaceutical nightmare.

Anyway, this is what's happening tomorrow night at the Windmill in Brixton:

Y NIWL
They’ve toured as Gruff Rhys’s backing band and soundtracked Football Focus on the telly. Now Y Niwl are bringing their surf rock instrumentals from North Wales to South London for your enjoyment.

LEFT LEG
Highly catchy, noisy and danceable stop-start punk trio.

APPLE EYES
Inventive electronic indie-pop songs from this (fairly) new London band. Tom Robinson off 6Music is a fan, and you should be too.

DAN ORMSBY
Ex-4 or 5 Magicians singer/American-influenced slacker rock’s answer to Mark E Smith returns to the Windmill with a brand new project.

Doors at 6.30pm, live music starts at 8pm, DJs until late after the bands have played, five quid on the door. Thanks for reading. I'll go now.
