I was 14 when it came out and remember thinking it was brilliant, so this makes me feel like an old man.

But it also seems like an unfeasibly long time ago for an album like that to have been released. How old does something have to be before it is properly *classic*? There's presumably loads of people on here who weren't even born when the album came out - does it feel like an old relic, or still a vital bit of music?

Anyway, rambling a bit, but I was really struck.
