Boring Computer Recording Thread

penny_racer [Edit] [Delete] 19:26, 8 March '12

Right!

Put simply, I need a new computer/laptop that can handle and run Ableton without having a meltdown. At the moment I'm running a three year old Toshiba (haha), with Vista (chortle) and was pretty cheap/low-spec in the first place and it's just not gonna happen.. Would take recommendations on laptops and desktops cos I'm not really sure if live use is essential. Most I could stretch to would be around £700, and finance gubbins a major plus.

Been looking at...;

and

or do I just sack it all and buy a MacBook
